The 2024 ACI Maryland Chapter’s “Excellence in Concrete Construction” Awards celebrates Maryland’s innovation and excellence. Now more than ever, concrete design and construction must integrate creative techniques and technologies to keep up with ever-evolving economic, environmental, and aesthetic demands. The Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards continues to provide the perfect platform to recognize these exceptional concrete projects from across the state.

NOMINATIONS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED!

Projects will be judged in the following nine categories: 

• RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS - Single Family or Multifamily 
• LOW-RISE BUILDINGS – Up to Three Stories 
• MID-RISE BUILDINGS - Four to Fifteen Stories 
• HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS – More than Fifteen Stories 
• DECORATIVE - Floors, artwork, specialty architectural features 
• FLATWORK - Parking lots, overlays, taxiways 
• INFRASTRUCTURE - Bridges, tunnels, roads, water, and power resources 
• REPAIR & RESTORATION - Any type of concrete structure. 
• MISCELLANEOUS - Special use of concrete not in the above categories
